In order to show you what we can do, we have put together a sample of case studies for your appraisal. We know that all dental businesses are looking to ensure that they pay no more than needed. That being stated, as a small business this is not always possible to be sure that you are getting the best deal. That is why, working together we can drive down costs and ensure that you never pay a penny extra. The ultimate aim is to make sure your business produces a decent base line margin. Becoming a member of the Alliance will help you with this.

All examples below are per year and only take into account the products that our members chose to use. Not all practices have chosen the same products and services and not all practices have chosen to use all of Alliance's services.

At times, with things like clinical waste you may be tied into a contract. If this is the case, we may be able to get you out of the contract. In certain situations this would not be possible and we will keep an eye on the contract renewal date for you.

This Alliance member has one location. They are a heavy NHS practice that were looking to drive down costs and increase their private potential. The practice principal was looking to expand her business and find another location however, she wanted to maximise the potential of the practice before doing so.

In this case we need to note that due to contractual agreements she was not able to take full benefit of the following:

  • The utility savings
  • They were already receiving small business rates relief, which equated to 100% savings.

At the time, the principal was only interested in employer’s liability insurance and public liability. However once insurance periods for the principal and the associates have ended, further insurance products will be supplied through our partners.

This Alliance member has two locations. They are a mixed 50 / 50 NHS practice and private practice. In this case the manager was in charge of the costs and sought our help to improve the bottom line. 

At the time, due to contractual agreements this practice was unable to take advantage of any utility savings.

This practice was already receiving small business rates relief, which equated to 100% savings.

This Alliance member has a number of locations. They are a mixed NHS and private practice. The principal wanted to increase the base line margin and was keen to get started very quickly.

Due to contractual agreements, this practice was unable to take advantage of all utility savings however, these are being monitored and will be implemented as soon as the contracts have ended.

Using our partners we were able to negotiate savings on the business rates however, given the time frame of working by the local authority these savings will not be implemented until April 2018. We have included the savings for you to see.

Insurances at this practice were already completed until August 2018 and are being monitored by the Alliance for future savings.
